The latest addition to the Armored Core series is coming to the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system! Set in the near future where humanity's last hope for survival rests in the hands of the Armored Core pilots, known as "Ravens," Armored Core 3 brings several new advances in game play and design into the third release for the PS2. Armored Core 3 features the following firsts for the series: Completely new Armored Core designs- more than 200 available parts and accessories for you to earn and customize your A.C. units. 1-4 Player Arena Mode- Up to 4 players compete against themselves or A.I. as they try to win the Arena crown. New "Wingman" feature- You may now have a back-up companion in your missions, covering you and adding to your assault power. Updated interface- A more intuitive design allows you to assemble your A.C. units in record time. Special "Drop Feature" added- You may cast aside empty weapons during battles to improve speed and performance. In Arena Mode, these items may be picked up by any player!
